Types of roles

When adding a user into a project, you can choose a role for them:

  1. Moderator
  • The most elaborate role: can create discussion, post comments, import respondents and change setting of theproject.
  1. Client
  • Viewing role for those who only want toread discussions.

Client role can be extended to Active Client role. This role can not only view discussions but also comment in them.

  1. Respondent
  • Role for participants in the project.

Moderator

  • The role of moderator is the most elaborate.
  • Moderator can manage all the features in Echonity:
    • settings of the project
    • administering the respondents including their import as well as renumeration (if applied)
    • creating topics and discussions and of course moderating them which also includes cancelling comments / diaries if needed

The "Cancel Comment" option is used when a moderator determines that a comment is inappropriate for various reasons (e.g., it does not answer the question).

After clicking on "Cancel comment“ there will be a form where the moderator should provide a reason for cancelling.

The respondent loses a reward for cancelled comment / diary but has a chance to fix it and write the comment again after reading the reason for cancellation.

Respondent

Respondent´s view in Echonity

  • On the dashboard they can see an overview of their activity in the project.
  • Unfinished tasks that respondents should complete are also to be seen on the dashboard (e.g.write a diary, complete a new discussion).
  • The status of rewards can also be checked on the dashboard.

Respondents can also check the balance of their renumeration.

Client & Active Client

Client

  • This role is mainly for viewing activities. The diaries and discussions can be viewed but not commented on.
  • The menu is limited in order to maintain GDPR standards to protect respondents' data.

The menu available for the Client role looks like this:

Active client

  • This role has the same options as the Client role but on top of it, it also enables the user to:
    • Post comments in discussions and moderate them
    • Comment on respondents´ diaries
    • Create new discussions that will be saved as draft and must be approved and published by moderator of the project

"Active client" can be set during the process of adding a new user
